Getting design cues from Zest and Bolt and bearing the same dimensional strength as EcoSport and TUV300, it will be tagged under Rs 7 lakhs.

 

Hyundai Creta – Ready to be launched this June, the Creta is the perfect balance of style and muscularity. A few noticeable changes in the form of bumpers, grille and plastic cladding make the facelifted Creta look bolder. The well-equipped cabin, safety features, powerful engine line-up and a segment-first 6 speed auto box on offer makes this car a complete package. The compact crossover with a tag of Rs 9.29 lakhs is being branded as a car for the new generation.

 

 

Mahindra XUV 500 – The new Mahindra XUV 500 is set to be launched in April/May this year with five variants and is priced between Rs.12.32 lakhs to Rs.18.98 lakhs. The top spec diesel is expected with an AWD. The interior and exterior updates, the safety features, excellent ride and handling are overall going to make the XUV a good cruiser and a major threat to its rivals.

 

 

Jeep Compass Trailhawk – The Jeep Compass Trailhawk is the top diesel variant in the compass lineup and is awaited in May/June this year. Priced at Rs 24 lakh, this urban-styled SUV with off-road capability is ready to conquer young Indians’ hearts. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre multijet diesel engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission to enhance performance quality.

 

Tata H5X – The H5X is built on the Land Rover platform and is being touted as a rival to the Hyundai Creta. Expected to hit the market in December 2018 with a price tag of Rs 10 lakhs, this fine-looking SUV is being awaited eagerly by auto enthusiasts. A class leader in terms of features and equipment, the H5X will be powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged engine supplied by Fiat with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.

Honda CR-V – Tentatively hitting Indian roads in August this year, the USP of this grand car is its 7-seat configuration. Powered by a new 9-speed automatic  with 1.6-litre diesel engine, the Honda CR-V will put up a tough fight to Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass. The CR-V with a sharp and futuristic look is priced at Rs 22 lakhs. The modern interior, the efficiency and the performance make this car a truly versatile machine.
