Tasting grand success with the Venue subcompact SUV and Grand i10 Nios, Hyundai Motor India now plans to launch its most awaited sedan, the Aura, in January 2020. Priced suitably between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9 lakh, borrowing designing cues from the Nios, this new generation model of Xcent is targeted to rival Maruti Dzire and Amaze. Hyundai India has left no stone unturned to make this sub-4m sedan the most successful vehicle of the year. Its three BS6 compliant engines – two petrol motors and one diesel motor portray power while the premium interiors and exteriors depict its subtleness.
Exterior – The Nios like front end, elegant projector headlamps, graceful LED DRLs, coupe-like roofline, curvy wheel arches and elegantly added new bumper boasts a sporty character. The well-sculpted boot lid and wraparound tail lamps highlight the cool look of the rear and justify its premium pedigree. The Aura with its 3,995mm length, 1,680mm width, and 1,520mm height is confident of standing tall in the crowd. The majestic wheelbase and boot space add to the overall getup of this wonderful car.
Interior – Resembling I10 Nios somewhere, the top variants are expected to get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with sophisticated features like Apple Car Play and Android Auto. It will possess a magnificent sound system, digital instrument cluster with multi-information display and wireless charging adding to the comfort of its riders.
Engine – Its power and strength is showcased by its BS6 compliant motors. The 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and 1-liter turbo petrol engines can efficiently execute decent mileage whereas the Ecotorq 1.2-liter diesel motor is equally efficient. In short, Aura is a powerful vehicle wrapped in a wholesome package displaying strong determination to begin the upcoming year with élan.
