The gloomy month of July saw some truly exciting times for the super-rich SUV lovers of India when Land Rover launched the Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic. The Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) team at Land Rover has designed the high-end variant of the Range Rover by focusing on delivering luxury experience. Land Rover is promoting the automobile as a luxury and premium SUV targeted at the upper end of the car-buyer spectrum.
The team at Land Rover has focused on the interior, exterior, and performance of SVAutobiography Dynamic to differentiate it from the other variants of Range Rover. With built-in navigation and multimedia systems in the SV Autobiography Dynamic, it is a worthy competitor to the others in the segment.
Diamond quilted leather upholstery in four distinct colours, foot pedals, start/stop buttons, rotary shifter, red key line at rear door veneers, grand black front, 4-zone climate control, configurable interior mood lighting, and a 10-inch touch screen infotainment system – the interiors are exclusive and high-end. The veneer in Grand Black makes the interior even more distinct and alluring.
SV Autobiography Dynamic appears markedly shorter than other variants of Range Rover. With tuned steering, chassis, exhaust, suspension, Red Brembo brake callipers, front fog lamps, LED rear lamps, heated windscreen, and exclusive alloy wheels, along with Graphite Atlas accents, the vehicle appears premium and trendy even from the outside.
The SVO team has included a wide range of features to deliver a safer driving experience. The automobile comes with side, seat-front, thorax and pelvis airbags to keep driver and passengers safe. Also, it is designed with a single point entry, power operated child locks, intrusion sensors, active speed limiters (ASL), and hazard lights under heavy braking. These safety features make SV Autobiography Dynamic score over other SUVs in the Indian market.
Like other automobiles in the segment, SV Autobiography Dynamic also uses advanced technologies and comes with built-in multimedia and navigation systems. It features Meridian surround sound system, Bluetooth phone connection, navigation system, and 10” touch screen. Also, it enables drivers to perform common tasks through voice controls by supporting “Say what you see” Intuitive Voice Control (SWYS).
SV Autobiography Dynamic outperforms other variants of Range Rover 405 kW V8 Supercharged engine. At present, the 405 kW V8 Supercharged engine is the most powerful engine developed by Land Rover. The all-aluminium 5.0-litre engine produces 405 kW and 680 Nm, while delivering max torque ranging between 3500 r/min and 4000 r/min. The redesigned engine boosts the performance of SVAutobiography Dynamic drastically, while complementing the new features and advanced technologies used by it.
At present, Range Rover SVAutobiography Dynamic can be purchased from any of the 25 authorized Land Rover outlets in India. With an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.79 crore, this luxurious SUV will cater only to a specific segment of car buyers in India.
